1. Active Website:

2. Matching Account Email:

   • The account email should align with the company's website domain (if going for Domain Verification).

3. Phone Number Requirements:

   • For phone number verification, ensure you can receive calls. If your number has IVR applied, temporarily disable it.

4. Consistent Business Name:

   • The company's trade name in documentation must match that on the website and Facebook page, or they should be related.

Documents Required for Business Verification

To apply for Facebook Business Verification, you need to submit documents supporting the registered business’s legal name, address, and phone number. Meta cross-checks this information with official records to validate it. Ensure you provide the most accurate and up-to-date documents to avoid rejection or further questions.

India:

• A list of mandatory documents for Indian businesses (in order of recommendation) must be submitted.

Other Countries:

• Refer to Meta’s official list of acceptable documents for businesses in different countries.

Documents Not Accepted:

• Ensure to review Meta’s guidelines for documents that will not be accepted for verification.

Application Process for Business Verification

1. Access Business Manager:

   • Log in to your Facebook Business Manager account. Navigate to Business Settings.

2. Start Verification:

   • On the left-hand panel, scroll down to Security Center and click on "Start Verification."

3. Fill Business Details:

   • Enter your Business Name, Address, Phone Number, and Website. Ensure consistency with official records and supporting documents. Click "Next."

4. Select Business Category:

   • Facebook will generate a list of businesses matching your entered details. Select your category and continue.

5. Confirm Business Details:

   • Confirm the details you wish to submit. These details will appear on your Facebook Business Profile post-verification.

6. Submit Supporting Documents:

   • Upload documents like the Certificate of Incorporation, Business License, or Business Bank Account Statement. Choose the correct language for the document to facilitate review.

7. Verify Business Address or Phone Number:

Application Review Process

• Review Timeline:

  • Facebook reviews applications within 3 business days to 4 weeks. Approved applications will receive a confirmation email.
