Manage Contacts Quickly Using Shortcut Actions
Wabo.ai allows you to perform key actions on a contact directly from the Contacts list using shortcut icons. This helps you save time and manage contacts efficiently without opening the full contact profile.
Using these shortcuts, you can:
Send WhatsApp templates
Change lifecycle stage and status
Add notes
Create and manage tasks
Edit contact details
View recurring visits
Delete contacts
How to Use Contact Shortcut Actions in Wabo.ai
Access the Contacts List
Log in to Wabo.ai.
Navigate to the Contacts module from the left menu.
The Contacts list will be displayed.
Available Shortcut Actions
1. Send WhatsApp Template
Click the WhatsApp icon next to the contact.
Select the WhatsApp template you want to send.
Click Send.
The template is delivered to the contactโs WhatsApp number.
Tip: Only pre-approved WhatsApp templates will be available for selection.
2. Change Lifecycle Stage & Status
Click the Change Lifecycle Stage icon.
Select the required Lifecycle Stage (e.g., Sales Qualified Lead).
Choose the appropriate Lifecycle Status (e.g., Qualified, Interested).
Add notes if required.
Click Update Status.
Lifecycle updates help track lead progression accurately.
3. Add Notes to a Contact
Click the Add Notes icon.
Enter the note details.
Click Add Notes.
The note is saved with a timestamp and user details.
4. Create and Manage Tasks
Click the Manage Task / Create Task icon.
Click Create New Task.
Enter the Task Title.
Select a Task Type (Call, Follow-up, Meeting, etc.).
Choose a Priority.
Select the Date and Time for the reminder.
Assign the Owner.
Click Save.
To mark a task as completed:
25. Open the task again.
26. Mark it as Completed.
27. Select an Outcome (e.g., No Response).
28. Choose completion Date & Time.
29. Click Save.
Task reminders are sent via email to the assigned owner.
5. Edit Contact Details (Quick Edit)
Click the More options (โฎ) icon.
Select Edit.
Update required fields such as Email, Phone Number, or Lifecycle Stage.
Click Save.
This allows quick edits without opening the full contact profile.
6. View Recurring Visits
Click the More options (โฎ) icon.
Select Recurring Visits.
View:
Visit dates & times
Visit count
Source and channel (WhatsApp, chatbot, web, etc.)
Helps track how frequently a contact interacts with your business.
7. Delete a Contact
Click the More options (โฎ) icon.
Select Delete.
Confirm deletion.
Deleted contacts cannot be restored.
