How to Use Bot Version in Wabo.ai

Managing different versions of your chatbot is simple with Wabo.ai’s Bot Version feature. This allows you to create, save, restore, edit, and delete multiple versions of your bot, ensuring flexibility and control over your automation flows. Follow the steps below to get started.

👉 Note: You can create up to 10 versions for a single bot flow.

Step 1: Navigate to Bot Builder

From the main menu, go to the Bot Builder module.

Step 2: Create or Manage a Bot

Select an existing bot or create a new one to work with.

Step 3: Create a Flow Node

Click on Create New Flow Node.
Choose a Message component or any other component you prefer.
Edit the component as required.
Click Publish to save this version.

Step 4: Create a New Version

Click on Create New Version.
Enter a name for the version and save it.

Step 5: Build and Save Updates

Again, click Create New Flow Node to add more components.
For example, select a Number component and edit it.
Click Publish to save the updated bot version.

Step 6: Manage Version History

Click on Version History to see all previously created versions.
From here, you can:
- Delete versions you don’t need.
- Restore an earlier version.
- Edit a specific version and save the changes.
