What are triggers?
Triggers are specific events or conditions that initiate an automation flow. They are essential for activating automated responses, and ensuring timely engagement with users based on their actions or behaviors.
The Different Types of Triggers Available in the Automation Module are-
Contact Created: This trigger activates when a new contact is added to the system.
Contact Updated: This trigger activates when an existing contact's information is modified.
Added to List: This trigger activates when a contact is added to a specific list.
Removed from List: This trigger activates when a contact is removed from a list.
Contact Field Match: This trigger activates when a contact meets certain specified field criteria.
Added to Segment: This trigger activates when a contact is included in a particular segment.
Date & Time Field Match: Activates when a specific date field (e.g., DOB, follow-up date) meets defined conditions.
Includes Date Field Match (only date-based) and Date & Time Match (date with exact time execution).
Date & Time Schedule: Activates automation at a specific date and time set manually.
WooCommerce Events: Activates based on events like order placed, cart abandoned, or purchase completed.
Google Sheet Trigger: Activates when a row is added or updated in a connected Google Sheet.
Webhook Trigger: Activates when external data is received via a webhook from third-party systems.
These triggers allow you to initiate automation flows based on specific actions or changes related to contacts in the system.
