Viewing & Editing Contact Details During Live Chat

During a live chat conversation in Wabo.ai, agents may need to quickly check or update a customer’s information. Wabo.ai allows you to open full contact details directly from the Inbox without leaving the conversation screen.

This guide explains how to view and edit contact details while chatting with a user.

How to View & Edit Contact Details During Live Chat

1. Open the Inbox

Log in to Wabo.ai and navigate to the Inbox module from the left sidebar.

2. Select a Conversation

Click on any active or closed chat to open the conversation window.

3. Access the Contact Details Panel

On the right side of the chat screen, click the Contact Details icon.
A quick-view panel will open, showing basic information about the user such as name, email, phone number, and location.

4. Open Full Contact Details

Click β€œView Contact Details” to access the complete profile of that contact.

5. Edit Contact Information

Inside the contact profile page, click Edit to update any details.
You can modify fields under:

  • Basic Information

  • Social Media Information

  • Web Analytics Information

  • Activities

  • Files

  • Communication Stats

All editable fields will appear for modification.

6. Save Your Changes

After updating the information, click Save to apply the changes.
