Using Conditions in the Contacts module helps you filter and view only the contacts that match specific criteriaβ€”such as valid phone numbers, recent leads, or campaign-based contacts. This allows better segmentation, targeting, and follow-ups.

How to Apply Conditions to a Contacts View

Follow these steps to apply, modify, save, or reset conditions for any view in the Contacts module.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Log in to Wabo.ai.

  2. Go to the Contacts module from the left sidebar.

  3. Open any existing View.

  4. Click on the View name (for example, Test).

  5. Click the Conditions icon to open the condition builder.

  6. Click inside the condition area to start adding filters.

  7. Choose the condition logic:

    • AND – All conditions must be satisfied.

    • OR – Any one condition can be satisfied.

  8. Click Add Condition.

  9. Select a Contact Property (for example, Mobile Phone Number).

  10. Choose the Condition Operator.

  11. Select or enter the required value (if applicable).

  12. Click Update View to apply the conditions.

  13. The view now shows only contacts matching the conditions.


Modifying Existing Conditions

  1. Click the Conditions icon again.

  2. Change the logic from AND to OR if needed.

  3. Select another contact property (for example, Created Time).

  4. Choose an operator (for example, Between).

  5. Select the From date.

  6. Select the To date.

  7. Click Update View to refresh results.


Saving and Resetting Views

  1. Click the Conditions icon again.

  2. Click Save as View to store these conditions as a new view.

  3. Enter a view name (for example, Test Copy).

  4. Click Apply to use the saved view.

  5. Only contacts matching the saved conditions will be displayed.

  6. To clear all filters, open Conditions again.

  7. Click Reset.

  8. All contacts will be shown again.

Condition Operators Explained (Quick Reference)

Common Operators (Text & Number Fields)

  • Is – Matches the exact value.

  • Is not – Excludes the exact value.

  • Contains – Value includes the entered text.

  • Doesn’t contain – Value does not include the entered text.

  • Starts with – Value begins with specific text or number.

  • Ends with – Value ends with specific text or number.

  • Is empty – Field has no value.

  • Is not empty – Field has at least one value.


Date-Based Operators (Created Time, Updated Time, etc.)

  • Is – Matches an exact date.

  • Is not – Excludes an exact date.

  • Greater than – Date is after the selected date.

  • Less than – Date is before the selected date.

  • Greater than or equal to – Date is on or after the selected date.

  • Less than or equal to – Date is on or before the selected date.

  • Between – Date falls within a selected range.

  • Not between – Date is outside the selected range.

  • Older than n days – Contact was created more than n days ago.

  • Not older than n days – Contact was created within the last n days.

Example:
If today is 20 Dec and you select Not older than 7 days, only contacts created from 13–20 Dec will appear.
