Set Chat Statuses

Chat statuses help track the progress of conversations. Set a chat as "Open" when it requires attention, "Pending" when awaiting further action, and "Closed" once the issue is addressed. This aids in efficient chat management.

How Do I Set Chat Statuses (Open, Pending, Closed) in Wabo?

In Wabo’s Inbox module, you can set chat statuses to manage conversations and track their progress. Here’s how to change a chat’s status:

  1. Open the Inbox Module:

    • Navigate to the Inbox module to view all ongoing conversations.

  2. Select a Conversation:

    • Click on the conversation for which you want to update the status.

  3. Change the Chat Status:

    • In the chat window, locate the status dropdown. It is found at the top of the conversation window.

    • Click the dropdown and choose from the following status options:

      • Open: For new or ongoing conversations that require further attention.

      • Pending: For conversations that are temporarily paused or waiting for a response from the customer.

      • Closed: For conversations that have been successfully completed or closed.

  4. Save the Status:

    • Once you select the appropriate status, the chat will be updated automatically.

By setting chat statuses, you can easily manage and track the progress of your conversations, ensuring no messages are left unresolved.
