Create WhatsApp Templates

Creating a WhatsApp template in Wabo.ai is essential for sending pre-approved messages. Follow these steps to create one:

  1. Go to the Template Module

    • Log in to Wabo.ai and navigate to the Template module.

    • You will see a list of existing templates.

  2. Create a New Template

    • Click the Create Template button at the top right of the screen.

  3. Enter Template Details

    • Template Name: Provide a unique name for your template.

    • Template Category: Choose between Marketing or Utility.

  4. Select Button Type

    • Choose the button type: None, Copy Code, URL, Quick Replies, Limited Time Offer, or Flow.

  5. Select Template Language

    • Choose the language in which your template will be written.

  6. Select Header Type

    • Select a header type: None, Text, Image, Video, or Document.

  7. Write the Body Message

    • Enter the message body. You can include variables for personalization.

  1.  Add Footer Text

    • If necessary, write a footer message for your template.

  2. Set Variables

    • Define any placeholders or variables in the message that will be replaced with dynamic content.

  3.  Submit for Approval

    • Once the template is complete, send it for WhatsApp approval. This step is essential to ensure compliance with WhatsApp's messaging policies.

  4. Wait for Approval

    • WhatsApp’s approval process can take anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours, depending on the complexity of the template.

     

  5. Approved Template Usage

    • Once approved, your template is ready to be used in broadcast messages or automations on Wabo.ai.
