Create Buttons for WhatsApp Templates

Buttons in WhatsApp templates allow customers to respond to your message or take specific actions. Here’s how to create different types of buttons such as Limited Time Offer, Flow, Copy Code, URL, and Quick Replies.

Step-by-Step Guide to Add Buttons in a WhatsApp Template

  1. Go to Template Module:

    • Navigate to the Template module and click on the Create Template button.
  2. Enter Template Details:

    • Add Template Name, Category, and other required details.
  3. Select Button Type:

    • You can choose from three main button types: Limited Time Offer, Flow, or Copy Code, URL, Quick Replies.

1. Limited Time Offer

  • Select Button Type: Choose Limited Time Offer.
  • Enter Details:
    • Add text for the Limited Time Offer.
    • Enter the Coupon Code (up to 15 characters).
    • Choose Static or Dynamic and enter the URL.
    • Enter text for the button.
  • Use Case: This button is effective for marketing campaigns that promote special deals or discounts, encouraging users to act quickly.
  • Send for Approval: After filling in the details, submit the template for approval.

2. Flow Button

  • Select Button Type: Choose Flow.
  • Choose WhatsApp Flow: Select a WhatsApp flow to link.
  • Enter Button Text: Add a label for the button.
  • Use Case: This button can be used to guide users through a specific process, like filling out a form or providing feedback.
  • Send for Approval: Once done, send the template for approval. When users click this button, the connected WhatsApp flow will open.

3. Copy Code, URL, Quick Replies, etc.

  • Select Button Type: Choose Copy Code, URL, Quick Replies, etc.
  • You get four options:
    1. Add Coupon Code: Enter the coupon code text (up to 15 characters).
    2. Add Website URL: Choose Static or Dynamic and enter the URL (up to 2000 characters) and button text.
    3. Add Phone Number: Select the country code, add the phone number, and button text.
    4. Add Quick Replies: Enter the quick reply button text (you can add up to 7 quick replies).
  • Use Case: These buttons facilitate quick actions, such as contacting support or retrieving information, making it easier for users to interact.
  • Send for Approval: Review the template and submit it for approval.

By following these steps, you can create templates with buttons that provide a seamless experience for users, from limited-time offers to quick replies or opening specific flows. Each button type serves a unique purpose, enhancing engagement and driving user actions.
