Add Dynamic Variables to a WhatsApp Template
Dynamic variables allow you to personalize your messages by inserting custom information, such as the recipient's name, order number, or any other specific data. Here’s how to add them in Wabo.ai:
-
Go to the Template Module
-
Navigate to the Template module and click on Create Template.
-
-
Enter Body Message
-
In the Body Message section, write the content of your message where you want to include personalized details.
-
-
Insert Dynamic Variables
-
To add a dynamic variable, use double curly brackets around the variable placeholder, for example: {{1}}, {{2}}, etc.
-
Example: "Hello {{1}}, your order number {{2}} has been shipped."
-
-
The numbers inside the curly brackets represent the position of the variable, which will be mapped to specific data later.
-
-
Add Sample Data
-
In the Add Sample Data section, map the body variables to specific sample data, such as names, order IDs, or other custom fields, so you can preview how the template will look with actual data.
-
-
Save and Submit for Approval
-
Once you've added your dynamic variables, save the template and submit it for WhatsApp's approval.
-
By adding dynamic variables, you can personalize your broadcasts, making them more engaging and relevant to each recipient.
