Assign or Unassign a Contact to Agents

 

Assigning or unassigning contacts to agents helps manage workload and streamline communication, ensuring that each contact receives appropriate attention. This feature is essential for enhancing customer service efficiency and tracking interactions with specific agents.

Steps to Assign or Unassign Contacts to Agents in Wabo-

To assign or unassign a contact to an agent, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Contact Module:

    • On the left-hand side, go to the Contact Module and select Contact.

  2. Select a Contact to Edit:

    • Click on the contact you wish to update.

  3. Edit Contact Ownership:

    • You will be directed to the contact's full details.

    • At the top, next to Owner, click on the Edit option.

  4. Assign or Unassign an Agent:

    • To assign, select an agent from the dropdown list and assign them to the contact.

    • To unassign, remove the current agent assigned to the contact.

  1. Save Your Changes:

    • After making the updates, click Save to apply the changes.

The contact will now be assigned or unassigned to the selected agent.
