Deleting Contacts

Managing your contacts is an essential part of maintaining an organized communication strategy. In Wabo.ai, you can easily delete individual contacts or remove multiple contacts at once. Follow the step-by-step guide below to learn how to delete contacts efficiently.

Steps to Delete a Single Contact-

1. Go to the Contact Module

   • Navigate to the Contact Module on the main dashboard. Here, you will see a list of all your contacts.

2. Hover Over a Contact

   • On the Contact List, hover your mouse over the specific contact you want to delete. Three icons will appear next to the contact:
     • WhatsApp icon (for sending messages)
     • Change Lifecycle Stage icon (for updating lifecycle status)
     • Three-dot icon (for more actions)

3. Click on the Three-Dot Icon

   • Select the three-dot icon next to the contact you wish to delete. A dropdown menu will appear.

4. Select the Delete Option

   • In the dropdown menu, click on Delete to remove the contact from your list permanently.

5. Confirm Deletion

   • A confirmation prompt will appear asking if you are sure you want to delete the contact. Click Yes to proceed.

Steps to Bulk Delete Multiple Contacts-

1. Select Contacts to Delete

   • In the Contact Module, use the checkboxes located in front of each contact's name. Select the checkboxes for the contacts you want to delete.

2. Click on the Delete Option

   • Once you’ve selected multiple contacts, a Delete option will appear at the top of the screen. Click on it to proceed.

3. Confirm Bulk Deletion

   • Just like deleting a single contact, a confirmation prompt will appear for bulk deletion. Confirm your action by clicking Yes to delete the selected contacts.

By following these simple steps, you can efficiently manage and clean up your contact list by removing unnecessary or outdated contacts. Bulk deletion helps save time when dealing with large contact lists.
