Set Opt-In and Opt-Out Options

 

Setting up Opt-In and Opt-Out options allows users to manage their communication preferences, ensuring compliance with privacy standards and improving user engagement. By configuring these options, businesses can offer a seamless experience for customers to subscribe or unsubscribe from updates.

Steps to Set Opt-In and Opt-Out Options in Wabo.ai:

 

  1. Access Settings:

    • Click on your Profile Name at the top-right corner of the screen.
    • Select Settings from the dropdown menu.
  2. Navigate to User Consent:

    • In the Settings menu, go to Chat Settings.
    • Click on the User Consent option.
  3. Add Opt-In and Opt-Out Keywords:

    • Enter keywords users can send to opt-out (e.g., "STOP").
    • Enter keywords users can send to opt-in (e.g., "START").
  4. Configure Opt-In and Opt-Out Responses:

    • For Opt-Out, enable the response by clicking the Opt-out Response Toggle and click configure to add a response. You can select Text, Image, Video, or Document for the header, then add the body and save.
    • For Opt-In, enable the response by clicking the Opt-in Response Toggle and click configure to add a response. Similarly, choose Text, Image, Video, or Document, add the body, and save.
  5. Save Changes:

    • Ensure all changes are saved to activate the opt-in and opt-out responses.

These steps allow you to manage user consent efficiently, ensuring compliance and better engagement.
